Pastor Friday A. Idawor is the Senior Pastor & Founder of Grace Fellowship Centre, Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. The church was established in 1992. He received the Nigerian Baptist Convention Church Training Diploma in 1980. In 1985, he attended the Morris Cerullo School of ministry. In 1986, he obtained a Diploma from the All Nation for Christ Bible Institute, Benin City, Nigeria, a school founded by the late Archbishop Benson E. Idahosa.

He also attended the Church Administration and Management for Africa in 1994. Pastor Friday was called by God in a dramatic visitation in 1979 when Jesus Christ appeared to him and healed him of a ten year illness.

Pastor Friday is presently the Lagos State Treasurer of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. He is also the President of Atte Christian Association in his home village since its inception in 1981. He has authored many books including audio and video messages.

Pastor Friday was born into a paganistic and polygamous family in 1956. At four months old, God raised him from the dead. As a child, he lived, watched and joined his parents serve idols until 1973 when he gave his life to Christ. He backslid in 1977 and dedicated his life back to Christ in 1979. In that same year, at age 23, he was dramatically healed from a ten year illness and called into the ministry to preach and do the same.

In 1981, as he was ministering in his village, a dead child was raised to life through praise and prayers. Ever since, many have been delivered from witchcraft and other demonic oppressions. In 1984, his first child was raised back to life when she was barely four months old. His wife (Grace) was healed from acute typhoid fever in 1988, "she could not sleep for a week in the clinic" until Friday returned from a mission trip and prayed for her with holy anger. She fell asleep for almost twnety-four hours and was discharged two days later. In 1989, his second daughter was healed from asthma through prayers. In 1994, Friday was healed from asthma after taking Holy Communion.

In 2006, during a missions trip in Ghana, Friday and his host, Bishop Manu visited a hospital and prayed for a colleague's mother whom the doctors had already said had no hope. She got healed and was discharged the next morning. Pastor Friday and Bishop Manu also prayed for God's healing power to touch the other patients in the ward (without the laying on of hands). The next day, all the patients got healed and were discharged.
